A former partner at Rice Brydone Ltd. she has extensive expertise in establishing first, the quantitative requirements and second, the creative direction of large scale facilities projects in both the private and public sector.
Stella’s approach to planning is based on the concept of organizational ecology and balancing the physical and social factors that support the functional requirements of individuals and groups. She has been instrumental in the development of interactive processes for developing client design direction, utilizing both staff input and on-going involvement to create pride-of-ownership in the project.
She has specific expertise in guiding organizations with respect to the practical use of communication technologies as well as issues such as environmental responsibility, health and safety, ergonomics, security, alternative officing strategies, brand alignment, change management and multi-generational accommodation.
